Rawlings has updated their line of batting helmets to
provide an accurate assessment for the speed of pitching that the
helmet is designed to withstand. Each individual model will have a
correlated speed rating that provides an accurate level to which the
helmet can withstand the speed of pitches. Be sure to select the
appropriate model given the average speeds seen at your level of
play.
